Multinational School Riyadh History
The Multinational School Riyadh opened in September 1998 in response to a growing need for high quality private international education in Riyadh.
From small beginnings of about 100 students, we have since grown to be one of the top schools in Riyadh with a roll of over 1600 students and still growing.
Our success is in part due to strong school management and in part due to our philosophy - ‘no child left behind’. Our Principal, Julia Jefferson has upheld this in everything we do ensuring that every child, no matter what their ability, is given every chance to reach their full potential. This has resulted in developing one of the best learning support programmes in the Middle East, with comprehensive and sophisticated methodologies to support all students.
We adopted the Australian Curriculum (Victorian Essential Learning Standards) and have built a productive partnership with Education Victoria. In 2004 we began offering the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) for Years 9 and 10 and introduced A Levels in year 2008 for senior students as preparation for university education.
Due to Multinational School Riyadh’s success, The Multinational School Bahrain was opened in 2013. Located in Adliya, right in the heart of Bahrain, the school has grown to over 600 students. The school reports to a different Board of Governors as the Multinational School Riyadh.
A third school was opened in 2014, Ishbilia Kindergarten. Located on Ishbilia Compound in Riyadh, the Kindergarten takes students from PreKG to Foundation. The school has grown to over 100 students and operates under Multinational School Riyadh’s management. For more information please visit http://www.mns-kgr.com/
